Becoming A Member/Partner Agency

How Can My Program Become A Member Agency?

Second Harvest Food Bank serves eight counties in east central Indiana:  Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph and Wabash.

Second Harvest Food Bank is a distributing warehouse for over 100 agencies in the eight counties. The majority of the agencies are food pantries. However, we do provide food to soup kitchens, shelters, day care centers, residential group homes, and rehabilitation centers.

If you are a not-for-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization serving the ill, needy, or children your organization is probably eligible for membership.

When pantries or feeding programs acquire all of their food at Second Harvest, communities can increase their capacity to address their hunger problem ten-fold. When an agency spends $10 on food at the store, it yields exactly $10 worth of food.  When an agency spends $10 on food at Second Harvest, it yields between $150 and $100 worth of food (at market value).

If you would like to become a member agency, please call Nicole Miles at 1-800-886-0882 or 765-287-8698 for more information.
