You Can Make a Difference

In East Central Indiana 73,000 people are food insecure.  44% of these individuals are children living in low-income households who face the threat of hunger daily.  

In order to provide enough food to our community, the Second Harvest Food Bank relies on organizations including religious organizations, schools, businesses, and other civic groups to run food drives and keep Second Harvest's warehouse shelves stocked throughout the year.  Last year over 35 companies and individuals conducted food drives for Second Harvest Food Bank. 

Hosting a food drive is easy and fun! We can provide your group with signs and boxes for your food drive, or you can decorate your own food drive boxes.

Remember, we need your food drive donations throughout the year, not just during the holidays.
